After completing 30 days of Yoga that I mentioned here, I was mulling over how I could continue my practice and was very excited when Adriene announced Yoga Camp at the beginning of the year. I dived deep into the practice and the experience felt more personal this time. The addition of mantras or affirmations elevated the whole process up a notch. What I have come to realize with Yoga is that you reap the benefits better with daily practice. The sense of connection between mind, body and soul is immense when yoga is a daily habit. It has made me wonder, how can something as simple as stretching your body can have such profound effects on you but I have stopped questioning and started accepting the process, you just have to believe the journey(cliched I know!). The second time around I was much more focused and organized and ended up practicing the whole month without any glitches(that's an achievement in itself!).
Have you given yoga a try yet? Let me know of your journey in the comments below.
